The museum\u2019s collection, particularly of French impressionists, Modern, Post-Modern, and Contemporary visual artists is first class. \u00a0The staff is in all departments friendly and helpful. \u00a0The press support is excellent. \u00a0Each visit, provides opportunity upon opportunity for learning and delight. \u00a0Here is a video by artist\/art critic Ron Schira of Frau Kolb and Mr. Brian Goings, deep into what Schira called,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 1em; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;\">Active Looking,<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;\">\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 1em; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;\">\u00a0of Paul Cezanne<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;\">\u2019<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 1em; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;\">s \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;\">\u201c<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=h-0WOqlCJpE&amp;feature=c4-overview&amp;list=UU2qA2VY8ALHm88_Y-NcPrnA\" target=\"_blank\">Woods and the Mill Stone<\/a>,\u201d one year ago at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2688_med.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal alignnone size-medium wp-image-961\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2688_med.jpg?resize=300%2C224&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"img_2688_med\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2688_med.jpg?resize=300%2C224&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2688_med.jpg?resize=426%2C320&amp;ssl=1 426w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2688_med.jpg?w=427&amp;ssl=1 427w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">This time was particularly special because the two youngest members of the Talkinggrid Creative Circle, the Llittle Kolbs, came along and experienced the fabulous collection of visual art masterpieces, ranging from the glorious <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.philamuseum.org\/collections\/permanent\/59213.html\" target=\"_blank\">Edouard Manet (1832-1883), \u00a0\u201cLe Bon Bock<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">,\u00a0<\/span>\/ \u201cThe GOOD Beer,\u201done of my favorite paintings, because the pleasure the character takes in his beer is timeless, eternal to the sumptuous bath of geometry, landscape painting, and elegant figure study, <a href=\"mailto:caridad.kolb@talkinggrid.com\">\u201cThe Bathers,\u201d by Paul Cezanne<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.philamuseum.org\/booklets\/12_71_130_0.html\" target=\"_blank\">Andy Warhol\u2019s iconic \u201cBrillo Boxes.<\/a>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2681_med.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal alignnone size-medium wp-image-960\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2681_med.jpg?resize=225%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"img_2681_med\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2681_med.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_2681_med.jpg?w=427&amp;ssl=1 427w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The children were vociferously critical of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.philamuseum.org\/collections\/permanent\/92488.html\">Marcel Duchamp\u2019s\u00a0\u201cFountain,<\/a>\u201d\u00a0the famous urinal signed R. Mutt and sent in as a game-changing lark to the Society of Independent Artist\u2019s first exhibition in April 1917. \u00a0\u201cThat\u2019s not ART!\u201d\u00a0 They shouted in unison. \u00a0I had a good laugh.
