This weekend I had a focused BLAST of big room relaxation, at The Standard Hotel in Downtown, Los Angele<\/a>s. My best DUDE art PAL: Marty Walker<\/a> and I downed a couple spicy bloody Marys promptly delivered to our, \u201cWOW ROOM!\u201d \u00a0after Mr. Walker, departed for his fabulous digs nearby. \u00a0Say \u201cHi!,\u201d to beautiful Lady Lanchaster and thank you Mr. Walker for standing by my side after I had an epic melt down on Saturday Night.<\/p>\n

Have you ever had a public temper tantrum? \u00a0Let me assure you: I HAVE!<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the tub in the room was ocean sized and I used an entire bottle of Mr. Bubble<\/a>, to get a worthy foam going and myself afloat, once again.<\/p>\n

Oh! \u00a0Sweet Jesus\u2026earlier, I was sizzling! \u00a0Thank goodness, I have real friends and The Standard Hotel<\/a> to back me up when I need a cool room with a giant rubber foot in it, for climbing and high mirrored walls and a Roman orgy sized shower, the room comes equipped with a window side desk, just in case one is caught in the clutches of inspiration, past midnight and demands reams of Standard Hotel paper to write one\u2019s Magnus Opus.\u2026 \u00a0What a splendid environment for decompressing and recovering one\u2019s sacred calm! \u00a0I am especially grateful to STAR at the front desk, you live up to your name, and are a great asset to The Standard Hotel in Downtown, Los Angeles<\/a>, which is one of my favorite party hotels.<\/p>\n

Years ago, I stayed at The Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles<\/a>, California, after dancing all night at their roof-top poolside party outdoor patio\/lounge with my then friends, a couple of tall Mexican Women, I haven\u2019t seen since. \u00a0Hah! \u00a0I also had some fun at the Hollywood location about a decade ago\u2026 I\u2019ve been around. \u00a0Hah! \u00a0I\u2019m an old hat<\/em><\/span> at blowing my top<\/em><\/span> and having a blast at luxury hotels around this super fun planet of ours. \u00a0Yep, that is what Frau stands for…<\/p>\n

Life! So many FUN hotels and restaurants\u2026 \u00a0a lifetime to discover the joys of travel and wine, while visiting art treasures and discovering visual artists around the world. \u00a0Here on www.talkinggrid.com you will not get the regular NEWS. \u00a0Here you tap into Frau Kolb\u2019s unique perspective or \u00a0version of reality. \u00a0I am sure you find it refreshing that someone, at least ONE person, is \u00a0living it UP, carefree, and bubbly even when failing to be the world\u2019s calmest or most stable being yet continuing to show up for the theater and drama that adds spice to otherwise dull, LIFE, is my forte!<\/p>\n
