Or is it a torch leading the\u00a0benighted toward the opening of the cave, toward the radiant sunlight?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #333333;\"><strong>Stick around\u2026 you might learn something\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #333333;\">Amig\u2019s work captures the sacred spark, the glowing ember, the\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';\">elemental<\/em><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #333333;\">\u00a0in, at-first-glance innocuous animal portraiture. \u00a0Yes, animal portraits\u2026 I know, this is NOT the kind of thing\u2026 that urban\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';\">hipster<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #333333;\">s dream of hanging above their beds, on the cracked walls of their hemmed in love shacks. \u00a0No. \u00a0This is fine art for thinkers; humans ready to arise and awake, from stupor of mind, dancing away from the\u00a0prevalence of contemporary art cheap tricks, overnight,\u00a0\u201csensations,\u201d\u00a0and other fleeting fancies<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';\">, which in our distinctly intoxicating times, heady days of lush entertainments and dazzling circuses galore, all on-line and ready to be downloaded with a click\u2026\u00a0to the deep brown eyes of a (perfectly rendered, highly yet not hyper realistic) cow, wet and sparkling like the self regenerating and spiritually renewing\u00a0water on the original well\u2019s glittering surface; painted faithfully to fool the eye and seduce the viewer into a conversation with the infinite\u2026 a reminder of the\u00a0depth of love which animates us. \u00a0Each living being represents the outcome of a miracle, an explosion, a sparkling spray of cosmic water. \u00a0Kaboom! The birth of beauty; as represented in ancient mythology and in later literature is frequently that which happens at the site\u00a0where the ocean kisses the earth and there from the sea foam; perfection springs. \u00a0Somehow, Amig addresses the spirituality and vulnerability of the viewer with a mirror image an equally valuable soul in encased in the body of \u201cbeast of burden.\u201d \u00a0Inviting questions about one\u2019s own\u00a0\u201cFarmed Animal,\u201d status.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';
