Thus, we had a great time, being treated like the favored children of extravagantly indulgent and caring parents. \u00a0Friendly, focused, fine-working people,\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';\"><em>into<\/em><\/span>\u00a0the ancient art hospitality LIKE me, I love the staff at the Ritz Carlton in Marina del Rey.<\/p>\n<p>The kids splashed about in the shallow pool. \u00a0We sat by and sipped bubbly beverages. \u00a0The day melted into Sundays, had inside by the old-world fire, a hearth to inspire. \u00a0We hit the sheets, early sinking into bed with our lap-tops and my new all-time favorite ancient Asian detective,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;q=Judge+Dee&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\">Judge Dee<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On-line, we found a house. \u00a0We traveled around the virtual world, greeting &#8220;friends,&#8221; and finding bargains. \u00a0Hah! \u00a0It is fun to live in the world of NOW, where everything is perpetually blooming.<\/p>\n<p>Cheers,<\/p>\n<p>Frau K.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Detail, 5&#215;7&#8243; Bat, acrylic on panel painting \u00a9Frau Kolb, 2013 8 September 2013, Los Angeles; Playa del Rey, Ca.
