\u00a0A really meaty show, with plenty of ideas for me to chew on. \u00a0Work that resonates on many levels and is as complex as it is straight forward and simple, using techniques that range from hyper-confident cartoon to full on mimetic, evocative, realism (in spurts, mostly during his earlier career). \u00a0Work well crafted, yet not about THAT, creating an impression of effortless playful productivity and thus, leaving a good taste behind, making the brain salivate. \u00a0Almost like the first visit was an appetizer. \u00a0This second one, I took longer deeper looks. \u00a0I let myself unwind in front of his larger canvases. \u00a0 I let myself think about Foulkes technique(s). \u00a0I allowed myself to experience AWE. \u00a0The seamlessness of pseudo\u2026 the butchering of pork, the wall sized post cards\u2026 the mixing of signage, the expertly made home-made <a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_4861_med.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal size-medium wp-image-1001 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_4861_med.jpg?resize=225%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"img_4861_med\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_4861_med.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/talkinggrid.com\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/img_4861_med.jpg?w=361&amp;ssl=1 361w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>looking frames!
